Terms & Policies

Please review the terms below covering how we deliver our services, how we handle your information, and how our website uses cookies. By using TurfIQ's website or services, you agree to these policies.

Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TurfIQ website and the lawn care, irrigation, and related services we provide ("Services"). By booking a service, purchasing a product, or using our website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please discontinue use of our website and Services.

02

Our Services

TurfIQ provides residential and commercial lawn care solutions, which may include smart irrigation design and installation, lawn renovations, soil testing, fertilization, weed control, elite grass seed supply, and do-it-yourself consulting. The exact scope of any engagement will be confirmed with you in a quote or service agreement.

We reserve the right to modify, refuse, or discontinue any Service at our discretion, including where site conditions make safe or effective work impractical.

03

Assessments & Bookings

Many of our Services begin with a Smart Lawn Assessment to evaluate your property and recommend an appropriate plan. Booking an assessment or service does not guarantee availability until we confirm the date and scope with you in writing.

Any recommendations provided are based on the conditions observed at the time of assessment and the information you provide about your property.

04

Pricing & Payment

Prices for Services and products are as quoted or as listed at the time of purchase. Quotes are valid for the period stated and may be revised if the scope of work changes or if site conditions differ materially from those assessed.

  • Payment terms will be specified in your quote or invoice.
  • Unless stated otherwise, invoices are due upon completion of work.
  • We reserve the right to pause or withhold Services on overdue accounts.
05

Cancellations & Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us as much notice as possible. Because much of our work is weather- and season-dependent, we may also need to reschedule appointments due to conditions outside our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you promptly and arrange a new time.

06

Results & Expectations

Lawn health depends on many factors, including weather, soil, existing turf condition, watering, foot traffic, and ongoing maintenance. While we use proven methods and quality products to deliver strong results, natural and living materials cannot be guaranteed to perform identically in every environment.

Please note: Any timelines or outcomes we describe are good-faith estimates based on typical conditions and proper aftercare, not a warranty of specific results. Following our care recommendations significantly improves outcomes.

07

Property Access & Your Responsibilities

To perform our Services, you agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the property and relevant utilities such as water and power. You are responsible for informing us of any hidden hazards, private utility lines, irrigation components, pet areas, or other features that could affect the work.

TurfIQ is not responsible for damage to unmarked private lines, cables, or installations that were not disclosed prior to work commencing.

08

Products & Online Store

Products such as elite grass seed and lawn care supplies may be available for purchase through our services or online store. Product descriptions are provided as accurately as possible; however, natural products may vary in appearance and performance. Any returns or exchanges are subject to the policy provided at the point of sale.

09

Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, images, and methods presented — is the property of TurfIQ or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

10

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TurfIQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website, Services, or products. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11

Governing Law & Changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the applicable laws of Canada. We may update these Terms from time to time; the current version will always be posted on this page with its effective date. Continued use of our Services after changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
